A prisoner has escaped from Glen Innes Correctional Centre.
At around five past one this morning, a correctional officer noticed a broken window in one of the units during a routine patrol.
An immediate search couldn’t locate the inmate.
Steven Barber is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 39 years of age and 183 centimetres tall, with short brown hair and hazel coloured eyes.
He also has two distinct tattoos – a pair of boxing gloves on his back and a snake on his left forearm.
He was last seen wearing prison greens.
