McCARTHY CATHOLIC COLLEGE PLANT SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE

Year 12 students from McCarthy Catholic College spent their last day at school giving back to the community.
Dressed in superhero costumes, more than 50 students planted hundreds of trees, leaving a legacy for generations to come.
Year co-ordinator, Kate Woolaston, is thrilled her students are co-operating as a team one last time before their final exams.
“This is a group of students who’ve come together very strongly at the end of the year and it’s a team building thing that they can do together and it’s something they’ll remember. They’ll be 30 and drive past here and say we planted those.”
