Police are asking residents to be on the look out after an inmate escaped from Kempsey Jail this morning.
He’s believed to be 31 years old and went missing between 8.30 and 9am.
The escapee was still wearing his prison greens, is of a slim build and is clean shaven.
It’s believed he’s a minimum security inmate.
