Ten people had a lucky escape when a duplex went up in flames at Emerald Beach, north of Coffs Harbour early this morning.
Two occupants of one home were woken by fire alarms, and managed to alert a neighbouring couple and their six children… who fled the scene amid intense heat and shattering glass.
It’s believed the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
