The Tamworth community has rallied around Blade Orm, who was critically injured in a pushbike accident last week.
Friends have launched a GoFundMe page to assist his recovery.
$2,000 has so far been raised to assist with medical, and travel costs.
It’s understood the 21-year-old was riding with friends at Tamworth Skate Park just after 7pm, before falling off his bike and hitting his head.
He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, where he continues to receive care.
