Retired police officers residing within the Manning Valley have been formally recognised in Taree today.
It was a special opportunity to acknowledge their work in the force, as well gain an insight into new methods of policing.
“I have the forensic services group coming to talk about methods of crime scene preservation and the types of examination they do, we’ll also be running a road spike demonstration which where we’ll be showing what the police are actually going through when they’re trying to deploy road spikes in a high pressure situation.”
The day also brought both new and old officers together.
