HIGH RAINFALL SET TO DRENCH THE REGION
Landholders are being urged to move farm equipment to higher ground and keep an eye on their livestock, with up to 100 millilitres of rainfall expected throughout the New England over the next few days.
So far, the region has received 53 mls of rainfall for the month – 10 millimetres higher than the average for September.
This week’s downpour is a direct result of a trough and associated cold front, moving across the state .
It will bring widespread rainfall in most inland districts of New South Wales.
