A 61-year-old bush walker has been found in a remote Central Coast national park, after almost two days in the bush.
Gary Bucholtz went missing in the Wollemi National Park on Saturday, when he walked away from the group he was with, to get water at about 2pm.
Grave concerns were held for his welfare, as he did not have food or camping equipment with him.
However Mr Bucholtz was found at the bottom of a canyon this morning, after the trio he was walking with activated an emergency beacon.
The walker has been assessed and apart from being hungry and cold, he didn’t sustain any injuries.
