RICHARDSON SECURES SECOND TERM

Incumbent Byron Shire Mayor Simon Richardson has been returned to office in a landslide victory.

Councillor Richardson secured his second term, after receiving almost half of the primary vote.

Elsewhere, Councillors Isaac Smith and David Wright are leading before preferences in Lismore and Ballina respectively.

In Richmond Valley, Robert Mustow is narrowly ahead of rival Daniel Simpson.
