Police are investigating a fiery fatal crash at Lake Macquarie.
Emergency services were called to Awaba Road just after 1:40 yesterday afternoon, following reports of a car on fire.
The vehicle had slammed into a concrete support pillar beneath an overpass.
A body was discovered inside the wreckage, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
