UMINA BEACH WOMAN REFUSED BAIL

A young woman was refused bail today over a fatal crash in North Gosford on Saturday morning.

Bianca Harrington’s Holden Commodore collided with a Mirage at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Dwyer street around 6am.

62 year old Kay Shaylor died from multiple injuries shortly after.

The court was told the accused consumed a large quantity of cannabis the morning of the crash and did not remember the incident.

Harrington’s mother attended court, offering her condolences.

“My heart breaks for the family”

The 20-year-old will face court again next month.
