ROUNDABOUT TRANSFORMED INTO WORK OF ART

A roundabout in the Lismore CBD has been transformed into a dazzling work of art.

Tonnes of coloured soil and sand were used to create the mandala-like sculpture, which was meticulously placed by the community.

The event is part of National Child Protection Week which starts tomorrow.

“We were wanting to have more of a celebration around child protection so there’s no better way than to bring the community around a creative, kind of, art project”

It’s the largest installment of its kind ever created on the North Coast.
