Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser says he’s relieved Wundarra Services has had its funding cut off.
Mr Fraser has been pushing for the move since allegations surfaced, relating to serious criminal behaviour by both staff and children in their care.
The MP is confident there are places for the children in other services.
“There’s some very good services that are operating in Sydney. There are carers in Coffs that are qualified, who who wouldn’t get positions with Wundarra. I believe we should get a Sydney service to hospice the carers up here.”
Something he says would also provide better supervision, right across the board.

Mr Fraser you have no clue what you are talking about, why don’t you go to Wundarra and meet with the staff and the kids they work with and then you may be a little qualified to make comment about the service and the kids. You have continually used the media to state incorrect facts and you are an embarrassment to the Australian public. Surely the first thing you do before going anywhere near media is check the facts? Obviously not you, you just continue to vent your personal Vendetta against the service publicly without thinking about the impact your ranting has on these kids. Andrew you need to check your facts and stop using your position for your own personal gain.
