GREYHOUND COMMUNITY PLEASED WITH TASKFORCE MEETING

The Mid North Coast’s greyhound community has met with the Greyhounds Transition Taskforce today, to discuss the industry’s shut down.

A recommendation is set to be made that would see an extension beyond July next year, for some dogs to continue being reared and trained.

  1. In today’s Telegraph Mr Baird promises generous compensation for those affected. This ordeal is jumping from one lie to another.
    The Supreme Court action starts this month and includes a $4 Billion dollar damages claim. Baird sais he will wait and see what happens. Well what will happen if the Greyhounds win you can add another 20,000 law suits by individuals for damages claims. This could cost the Government mega bucks

  2. Its still worrying me as they refused to include compensation in the law when passed. Do you really trust this lot to pay up any compo? also only to those that have put in tax returns for certain time so I am told.
