If you think you’ve had a rough day at the office, spare a thought for a Richmond LAC police officer, who was head butted – and sent flying – by an unruly cow last night.
The Probationary Constable was assisting a farmer with a loose cow in Casino, when the fed-up bovine charged at the officer, knocking him aside, before turning its attention on the police vehicle.
Police eventually moooved the cow into a paddock where it was secured.
Thankfully, the constable was not badly injured.
The farmer however will be issued with a fine from council.
