Good news for Coffs Harbour motorists, with the Harbour drive and Gordon Street intersection now open to traffic after 10 weeks of refurbishments.
Council says it was working on a tight timeline, in order to cause as little impact on businesses as possible.
The works included removing a roundabout, a major upgrade to storm water drainage and a new set of traffic lights.
The makeover will help mitigate flooding in the area, while also improving pedestrian safety.
