Avoca’s Wade Carmichael has taken out the WSL’s Pro Anglet Qualifying Series event in France overnight.
In clean two foot waves, the 24-year old posted a 9.23 on his final wave, to beat Frenchman Marc Lacomare.
It’s Carmichael’s second QS win of the season, seeing him jump 17 places to sit 42nd on the series.
