BUNNIES CLASH MARKS SMITH’S FINAL APPEARANCE AT HUNTER STADIUM

The countdown to Old Boy’s Day is on in Newcastle, but Sunday’s clash with the Rabbitohs will also mark Jeremy Smith’s final appearance at Hunter Stadium.

The 36-year-old has no regrets about the decision he made earlier this season to hang up his boots, and spend more time with family.

“I suppose when it comes around November, pre-season I might think about football but I’m happy with what I’ve done in the game and happy to leave it at that,” says Jeremy Smith.

Jarrod Mullen is no certainty to play, as he continues to deal with a knee injury.

“Such a big game, such a big occasion, Jez’s last game he’ll play. I want to help but I’m not going to put the team at risk if I’m not right,” says Jarrod Mullen.
