Emergency services are responding to reports of a man missing in a flooded creek near Kyogle on the far north coast.
A rescue helicopter has joined the search at Larnook, where a car was reported to have been swept off a bridge at around 4pm.
The driver is thought to be an elderly male, and is still unaccounted for.
