An exciting opportunity for 40 of the region’s best young ballet dancers, selected to dance alongside the Imperial Russian Ballet Company.
Two of the stars of the show were in Newcastle this afternoon to give a master-class to the group.
“It’s kind of like Christmas for them. And especially seeing Russian ballerinas come. It’s their dream. So yeah, it’s exciting.”
The students still have a little time to practice – The Nutcracker will be performed at Civic Theatre on September 15.
