A small-town pharmacy on the Mid North Coast has been named as New South Wales’ Community Engagement Pharmacy of the Year.
Old Bar Guardian Pharmacy was recognised at the PAAC Awards for providing outstanding service and community support.
“The only thing that keeps us going is helping the community. They trust us, they come to us, and in today’s age of having discount pharmacies everywhere where they get everything for a lot cheaper it’s just getting difficult for pharmacies to survive.”
The team will now attend the National Title awards on the Gold Coast in March.
