A man has been charged following an aggravated robbery outside a Northern Rivers shopping centre.
It’s alleged the man was approaching people in a car park on Fraser Drive, asking for money, before he approached and grabbed a 29-year-old man and demanded his wallet.
The man refused before he was allegedly punched in the face, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.
The accused then allegedly lent over the man and stole money before fleeing the scene.
He was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated robbery, demand money with menace, and intimidation.
