Police are appealing for witnesses, after a woman hit her head on the ground during a bag snatch in Newcastle.
The 57-year-old was walking home along Shepherds Place late yesterday afternoon, when a man grabbed her handbag, causing her to fall.
The offender fled on foot towards the foreshore.
He’s described as being in his 30s with long, curly brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt with red stripes and dark-coloured tracksuit pants.
