STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES THINK ABOUT FUTURE CHOICES

More than 100 students with disabilities and their families have taken part in this year’s Future Choices’ Expo, at Taree’s North Coast TAFE.

The event helps students diagnosed with a disability, chronic illness or an additional learning need, transition after school.

Family members were also given an opportunity to gain clarity on the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

“It’s been important to have representatives from the NDIS here today answering questions, it’s very, very important for them to know what that means for the roll out and that it’s actually started in here in July.”
