• Kyle Chalmers has taken gold for Australia in the men’s 100 metre freestyle final at the Olympics…while Madeline Groves picked up silver in the 200 butterfly.
• Police have addressed the media after the body of missing Hunter mother, Carly McBride, was found on a property near Scone. Ms McBride had been missing for almost two years, her death is being treated as suspicious.
• And a polar bear cub at a zoo in the US is getting ready to take on the world, moving enclosures to make room for other bears.
