The state and federal governments have come together to provide more than $1-million in funding to restore Stroud Showground, following last year’s April storm.
The showground, which also includes the town’s swimming pool and sporting areas, was extensively damaged in the storm.
Assistance was provided immediately after the disaster, with the latest funding to go towards restoring the showground to its former glory.
The funding is part of the Commonwealth-State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements.
