Ocean board paddler Juliana Bahr-Thomson has completed her epic 1,000 kilometre journey from Newcastle to the Sunshine Coast.
Juliana reached Noosa’s Main Beach, 46 days after setting out from Horeseshoe Beach in late June.
The 28-year-old professional lifeguard had encounters with whales, dolphins and sharks and battled winter gales and exhaustion.
Known as the Mermaid with a Message, Juliana raised more than $30,000 for the White Ribbon and Surf Riders foundations.
