Thousands of people were up early this morning for the annual Run Newcastle.
The event raises money for John Hunter Hospital.
“I love the community spirit that Newcastle brings, I’m a Newcastle girl so it brings me home and get to hang out with my family and raise some money for a wonderful cause”.
More than $75-thousand was raised.
