A 33-year-old man has suffered multiple wounds during a stabbing at Cessnock Correctional Facility.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the area at around 9:30 this morning, to meet paramedics with the patient.
He’s expected to be taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
