• A woman has been attacked with a hammer while waiting for a bus in Sydney’s south west. Police are investigating what sparked the random attack.
• Daniel Morcombe’s killer, Brett Peter Cowan, has been injured in a hot water attack in prison.
• Our swimmer’s in Rio have been kept out of the main practice pool due to dirty water and there’s been problems with the water flow in the kayak slalom course.
• And heavy rain has created a spectacular waterfall along the Yellow River in China’s North-west.
