• Daniel Morcombe’s killer, Brett Peter Cowan, has been injured in a hot water attack in prison. It’s understood boiling water was poured over him at Queensland’s Wolston Correctional Centre by another inmate.
• In Rio, a Russian diplomat has shot dead a robber who attacked his car near the Olympic torch relay. Meantime our swimmer’s have been kept out of the main practice pool due to dirty water.
• And a tree kangaroo, that was raised by a wallaby, has moved in to a new home at Singapore Zoo.
