Port Macquarie’s new 4G shark listening station at Lighthouse Beach was another casualty of last night’s storm.
The neck of the buoy was snapped off by two-metre swells, ceasing its transmission.
The Department of Primary Industries says the device will remain out of order until it can be repaired.
