About 80 teams took to the netball court yesterday, for Tamworth’s long-running All Age Carnival.
Divisions ranged from Under 10s to Opens, with players travelling from as far as Dubbo and Gilgandra to participate.
Organisers were especially happy with the 13 mixed teams who entered, hoping they’ll feed in to the local Thursday night competition.
Impressive performers from the day including a Tamworth emergency services team, which took out the division two mixed crown undefeated.
The ‘come and try’ day doesn’t require players to be registered for the sport to play.
