APPEAL FOR PHONE VISION AFTER EARLY MORNING ASSAULT AT HAMILTON

Three men have been left with varying injuries after an alleged early morning altercation in the Newcastle suburb of Hamilton.
Police were called to the corner of Beaumont and Cleary Street at around 1:45 on Sunday morning, after reports a group of men had been assaulted.
One of the men suffered a broken nose and damage to his teeth, while the other two were left with minor abrasions.
A 30-year-old man was arrested nearby, and charged with a number of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail, with the Tighes Hill man due back in court next month.
