The newly opened section of the Pacific Highway between Nambucca and Urunga has been enthusiastically welcomed by motorists on the north coast.
Nambucca’s Mayor Rhonda Hoban says the improved safety will save lives but she’s concerned the council will now face the cost of maintaining the old highway.
