Shortland’s newly elected federal member, Pat Conroy, has snagged two new roles in Labor’s cabinet re-shuffle.
Mr Conroy has been promoted to Shadow Assistant Minister for both Climate Change and Infrastructure.
While Hunter MP Joel Fitzgibbon has retained his position as the Shadow Minister for Agriculture.
He’ll also take on the new-look Rural and Regional Australia portfolio.
