It’s been an exciting day for whale watchers with sightings of the rare white whale Migaloo off the coast of Port Stephens.
The first sightings were reported off Birubi Point early this morning, followed by One Mile Beach, then came confirmation with these pictures off Fingal Bay.
The name Migaloo comes from an aboriginal term for White Fella.
Migaloo is now estimated to be in his 20s and is taking part in the northern humpback whale migration.
