After a fascinating career spanning several decades, well-known Hunter identity Jon Chin has announced his retirement.
Today was his last day as Manager of Hexham Bowling Club – a position he’s held for 24 years.
“I leave here with a lot of happy memories. It’s sad to say goodbye to Ozzie the Mozzie. He’s been here for 22 years, so we are good mates.”
But retiring in no way means rest…
Mr Chin is set to continue in several community roles, including as ambassador for White Ribbon.
