SIX PEOPLE TREATED BY PARAMEDICS FOLLOWING GAOL FIRE
Paramedics have treated six people for smoke inhalation, following a fire at Grafton gaol.
Emergency services were called to the gaol just before 2pm, after reports a mattress was set on fire.
The blaze was extinguished by the time fire fighters arrived, thanks to a sprinkler system.
A spokesperson for Ambulance New South Wales says of the six people treated at the scene, three were taken to Grafton Hospital for further treatment.
