North Coast cancer patients have given their local treatment facilities the thumbs up.
In the first community survey of public hospital patients, the outpatients cancer unit at Coffs Harbour Health Campus was ranked fourth in the state.
The unit at Lismore Hospital was named the best in New South Wales for satisfaction, with services such as chemotherapy, radiaiton therapy and surgery, ahead of Orange and Campbelltown.
According to the survey, regional centres generally outperformed their city counterparts.
