COUNCIL TO VOICE GREYHOUND BAN CONCERNS

Richmond Valley Council has unanimously voted to contact the Baird Government, to express its concerns about banning greyhound racing.

Council fears shuttting down the industry will damage the region’s economy and cost jobs.

A letter and accompanying report, outlining the ban’s potential economic impacts, will be sent to the Premier and several state government members.
