MORE CHARGES LAID OVER ABERMAIN ARMED ROBBERY

Two more people have been charged over an armed robbery in the Hunter Valley earlier this year.
In June, two men – one armed with a hammer, the other a shotgun – allegedly forced their way into the Abermain Bowling Club.
Inside, the pair is accused of assaulting a female employee – tying her up with duct tape – before stealing cash.
This morning a 33-year-old man from Weston and a 29-year-old woman from Pelaw Main were arrested by police.
He’s been charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon, while the woman has been charged with concealing a serious offence.
A third man has already is currently before the courts.
