Hunter driver Aaren Russell won’t feature in the rest of the Supercars season, after splitting from Erebus Motorsport because of a contract dispute over sponsorship.
The Russells say they’re looking at their options for 2017, which could include a Newcastle-based team.
The family-run unit has received support from other Supercar teams following the split from Erebus.
