LOST FAMILY WINCHED TO SAFETY IN BUSHLAND AT PUTTY
A family of three has been rescued from bushland south west of Singleton, after becoming lost late yesterday.
The trio became disoriented in fading light during a bush walk at Putty.
A woman and child were winched to safety, while the third member – a man – camped overnight with his dogs and a paramedic.
The group walked out of the bush together this afternoon.
