The future of Walcha Council is now in the hands of its residents, following the retirement of three councillors.
Mayor Janelle Archdale and Deputy Mayor Scott Schmutter have announced they will not be contesting the upcoming Local Government elections in September, and are encouraging anyone looking to get involved to give it a go.
Councillor Maria Woods also recently announced her retirement.
