WEATHER: MIGHTY COLD

There wasn’t a great deal of daytime heating for northern NSW and SE QLD due to the layer of high cloud stealing the sunshine keeping temperatures to their absolute minimum. It remained cold to the south for areas such as the Hunter Valley despite lengthy sunny breaks. The winds are easing and will begin to swing from the west to south quadrant in the coming days. Once the winds swing onshore across the weekend we will see the temperatures rise both at night and during the day.
