A teenage boy remains in a critical condition in hospital
after crashing his car in Southport overnight.
Police say the 17-year-old’s car slammed into a park vehicle and then into a fence on Shirley Street just after midnight.
He was freed from the wreckage by fire fighters, before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with head injuries.
