COUNCIL UNVEILS ‘COMMUNITY PRIDE’ TRAILER

Trimming trees, mowing lawns and tending gardens takes a multitude of tools.

That’s why Lismore Council’s launched its first ‘community pride’ trailer.

Available on loan to community land care groups at no charge, it’s full of gardening equipment and tools.

“By supporting community groups that are out there doing beautification jobs and working bees in the community, we can all kind of pitch in get what needs to be done done.”

“Being able to have something that you know is going to work, one pull and it’s going to start and there’s going to be fuel in the fuel can. That’s just fantastic; to have all those resources.”
