A terrifying encounter for a man and woman at Mayfield this morning, when they were threatened by an armed intruder in their Mayfield home.
Forensics spent several hours examining the Denison Street property today.
Police say the man entered the home at around 4:30am and demanded cash and drugs.
“We believe the offender has attended the wrong address. The male offender has assaulted the male and left the premises with some property.”
Meanwhile, police are also investigating a SEPARATE break and enter at Waratah late yesterday afternoon.
A 56-year-old man broke his nose during a fight with a man who entered the home.
