It’s taken 25 years and hundreds of hours of dedication for the Maitland Embroiderers to achieve their silver anniversary exhibition.
Considered one of the best embroidery exhibitions in the country, the tri-annual showing attracts bus loads of visitors from Sydney and the mid-north coast.
Starting out with just six women with a shared interest, Maitland Embroiderers now has more than 200 members.
The exhibition at East Maitland’s Therry Centre is open until eight tonight and wraps up on Saturday afternoon.
